In addition, this PCN replaces the recently issued PCN No. P-24-027338.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, for continuous strive for improving our processes, we inform you about a processes transfer. According to PPAP Manual 4th Edition 2006, Section 3 - 3.1 Customer Notification, item 3. Production following upgrade or rearrangement of existing tooling or equipment - Rearrangement is defined as activity that changes the sequence of productand process flow from that documented in the process flow diagram ,including the addition of a new processs. Minor adjustments of production equipment may be required do meet safety requirements such as, installation of protective covers, elimination of potential ESD risks, etc. As described in the manual, since it is only a change in the current position of the machine within the same factory, it does not require the submission of a new PPAP. Submitting the PCN is only the communication of the event within the factory, and does not require additional activities, unless there is a Specific Requirem. for this action.

Plug housing of the mentioned part numbers, which are under the design responsibility of TE Connectivity. This PCN is informational only and no further actions are necessary from your side, as this extension does not have any impact to form, fit or function change. The material itself will remain PA66-GF as stated on the general TE customer drawing. The PN in scope of this PCN is a general sales / catalogue part. Therefore, no contractual agreement related to sub-supplier selection is applicable. VDA 2 Trigger matrix use case 30 and PPAP towards Customer/s are not applicable too. Description of ChangesIn order to improve the injection quality of our parts, we have decided to transfer several components (TPAs and CPAs) from Babyplast injection machines to conventional injection machines. Conventional injection mold machines are more stable and therefore our components are expected to have a more reliable injection process that will positively affect the quality of our connectors.
