Their integrated, compact solutions with advanced protection features streamline designs, cut costs, and deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.
Current Sensors
Allegro MicroSystems has led innovation in current sensing since 2002, offering advanced ICs that boost efficiency and power density. Their current sensors use magnetic sensing to deliver precise, isolated AC/DC measurements with fast over-current detection and analog output. They offer nearly 20 “L-Temp” models rated up to 150°C and the highest working voltages in a SOIC-16 footprint—making their portfolio robust for automotive and industrial applications.
The ACS712 is a low-cost, low-current sensor for consumer electronics, while the CT455 is ideal for high-voltage, high-current applications with up to ±200A and 3.75kV isolation. The ACS37220 offers high-accuracy, digital output for precise current sensing in automotive and industrial systems.
Motor Drivers
Allegro MicroSystems motor drivers combine industry-leading robustness and safety, thriving in high-voltage environments while operating quietly. With decades of expertise, they help customers achieve efficient, reliable motor performance in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications, simplifying designs and accelerating time to market with their embedded motion control algorithms.
Motor Drivers like the A3992 is a microstepping driver for bipolar stepper motors with current sensing and overcurrent protection. The A5932 is a dual H-bridge driver for DC and stepper motors, ideal for low-power applications. The A4980 offers smooth microstepping and current control for energy-efficient, low-power stepper motor systems.
