Microchip dsPIC33A Digital Signal Controller
New release features high resolution PWM outputs for higher efficiency
Microchip’s new release in the 32-bit Digital Signal Controller (DSC) A Core device family introduces high-resolution PWM outputs for highly efficient motor control using GaN and SiC wide bandgap semiconductors. It also offers industry-leading high-speed analog peripherals for real-time control and an integrated crypto accelerator module for enhanced embedded security.
This 200MHz, 32-bit dsPIC33A Digital Signal Controller (DSC) features a 32/64-bit Floating-Point Unit (FPU), up to 512KB Flash program memory, and 64KB SRAM data memory. It integrates high-speed 40MSPS 12-bit ADCs, high-bandwidth 100MHz operational amplifiers with low input voltage offset, fast 5ns comparators, and high-speed PWM outputs optimized for real-time control applications. Designed to meet ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 functional safety standards, this family supports on-chip security features and offers AEC-Q100 qualification.
