This announcement provides notification of our intention to TRANSFER the manufacture of X8R Dielectric parts to the AVX Penang, Malaysia facility.
AVX would like to take this opportunity to advise customers of the need to utilize worldwide manufacturing capability for the supply of AVX Automotive grade, Surface Mount Ceramic, X8R Dielectric capacitors.This announcement provides notification of our intention to TRANSFER the manufacture of X8R Dielectric parts to the AVX Penang, Malaysia facility. A Last Time Buy opportunity for AVX Coleraine manufactured products will be made available until Wk 33 2015. After this time customer orders will be directed to the AVX Penang facility.There are no changes proposed from the design, fabrication, test or packaging of the current devices.
