Product Description: DEUTSCH size 20 SF Socket Protective Sleeve New Capacity ToolingGeneral Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding new capacity tooling for the protective sleeve for the part number(s) listed below which are manufactured at TE Suzhou, China plant. These protective sleeves are used on DEUTSCH size 20 sockets that has a traceability ID 4 located on the bottom side of the insulation grip. Also, the sleeve will have optional two small dots on the diameter to signify they were made in China. See attached. These PNs are TE proprietary design, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, the new protective sleeve tool is necessary to support production demands. IMPORTANT: The sleeves made from new tool are identical to current production and will not impact terminal or connector performance. Shipments from current and new tooling may be mixed.
