General Product Description:DEUTSCH HDP Panel Nuts (Size 18 and 24) Material ChangeDescription of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding an alternate material for the part numbers listed below. The current PEI resin is single source, while the alternative one is multi-source PPS with a guaranteed supply. Parts manufactured with both resins meet the TE specifications and can be used interchangeably. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to ensure avoidance of material supply shortages. The change does not impact performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change(s) are being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.

A previous PCN was distributed E-19-007790 in 2019 which lists this tool as a swing tool and per that PCN in case of subsequent transfer of swing tool, PCN will be sent to notify but will have a zero day wait period. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or TE e-PPAP system. Submissions will not occur without request. If PPAP is requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved.Reason for Changes:This change is necessary for alignment of overall manufacturing capacity and footprint to better meet our Customer's needs.
