The BH1600FVC is an analog current output ambient light sensor IC that is composed of photodiodes, amplifiers and current mirror circuits. The output current can be converted to the voltage value by external resistor.

The IC is mostly suitable to obtain the ambient light data fro adjusting LCD and keypad backlight of mobile phone for power saving and better visibility.

The BH1600FVC is available in WSOF6 package.
