2ASC-12A2HP – 1200V Dual-Channel Augmented High Performance SiC Core
The Microchip AgileSwitch® 2ASC-12A2HP 1200V Dual-Channel High Performance SiC Digital Gate Driver Core enables better control and protection of most SiC MOSFET-based power systems.
Microchip’s 2ASC-12AHP advanced gate drive core features Augmented Switching™ control, an isolated DC/DC converter and low capacitance isolation barrier for PWM signals and fault feedback. The Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) will allow users to configure the Gate Driver Parameters to their application without having to worry about changing hardware.
Optimized for Electric Vehicles, Auxiliary Power Unit, Charging, Storage and Inverter applications, these Gate Driver Cores are UL compliant for up to 1.2kV and 1.7kV rated modules (and below), can switch up to 150 kHz and provide up to 7 unique fault and monitoring conditions, including Temperature and High Voltage Monitoring. The 2ASC-12A2HP core provides up to 10A of peak current.
These cores are production qualified to enable rapid time to market. They can also be mated to Module Adapter Boards for immediate evaluation of Module and Gate Driver.
Easily configure and fine-tune the performance of these Gate Drivers using the Intelligent Configuration Tool (ICT) Version 2.0.
