The MOC3043SM is a part of MOC3043S Series, this device consist of a AlGaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector that performs the function of a zero voltage crossing bilateral triac driver.
This device is designed for use with triac in the interface of logic systems to equipment powered from 115 VAC lines such as teletypewriters, CTRs, solid-state relays, industrial controls, printers, motors, solenoids and consumer appliances, etc. It has an Operating Temperature range of -40 °C to +85 ° C.
