The MIC2940A-12WU is a MIC2940A Series 26 V 1.2 A “bulletproof” efficient voltage regulators with very low dropout voltage (typically 40 mV at light loads and 350 mV at 1 A), and low quiescent current (240 μA typical).

The MIC2940 is available in both fixed voltage (3.3 V, 5 V, and 12 V) and adjustable voltage configurations. The devices are three pin, fixed voltage regulators. A logic-compatible shutdown input is provided on the adjustable MIC2941A, which enables the regulator to be switched on and off.
