Change Description Panasonic will remove selected recycling symbols from its standard packaging sold in North America. There is no change to the battery itself, only the markings on the packaging. Reason for Change As a result of the California recycling labeling regulation, Senate Bill 343 (SB 343), the California Environmental Protection Agency (Ca1EPA) prohibits the sale or import of any product or packaging determined to be non-recyclable, if it carries misleading recycling indications such as the chasing-arrow symbol. ***NOTE: For the same existing product numbers, products manufactured in the USA remain unchanged, while products manufactured in Indonesia and Japan have been assigned new product numbers. ***Region: Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America .
