*RE-PROCESSING PCN# 58260 WITH A PART LIST*This Product Advisory Notice is to alert you that Grayhill is expanding its supply chain for Thick Film SMT Resistors. Description of Change Due to the world-wide shortage of thick film chip resistors, Grayhill is planning to use resistors of equal or better ratings from alternate approved Grayhill suppliers. More specifically, the notification covers the use of thick film resistors from any of our approved suppliers (KOA Speer Electronics (KSE), Panasonic, Rohm, Vishay (Dale), Yageo, Stackpole, or Venkel) that meet the specific resistor value, resistance tolerance, wattage rating, temperature coefficient, and package size as the current approved resistor supplier used in each circuit. Reason for Change Lead times for thick film resistors are now stretching to more than 26 weeks (52 weeks in some cases). Without the flexibility of using alternate approved suppliers, there is a high risk of multiple missed delivery dates in 2018. Effective Date This change will be effective for shipments after March 14.
