The transfer project will be phased in gradually over the next 6-18 months. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days (or per contract with TE) of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. This PCN is a continuance of PCN-24-219068.Reason for Changes:TE hereby inform you of the manufacturing location change because when the supplier in RI, USA closed, all tools were stored in TE warehouse since a new supplier had not been defined. We apologize any inconvenience this has caused. This transfer project will be phased in gradually over the next 6-18 months. IMPORTANT: Product from the new supplier are the same as the previous supplier and does not impact product performance. The change is necessary to support product shipment and traceability. The product drawing change does not impact performance.
General Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit of TE Connectivity has approved a new copper alloy base material for the part number(s) listed on the attached document. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawings are affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, this change will align with other ICT male pin terminals made out of same base material. This change will communize our global supply chain and alleviate future global supply chain constraints. Product performance and crimping not affected. No visual change. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Both versions may be mixed.
