General Product Description:DEUTSCH size 16 SF Socket New Capacity Tooling for Protective SleeveDescription of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding new capacity tooling for the protective sleeve for the part number(s) listed below which are manufactured at TE Suzhou, China plant. These protective sleeves are used on DEUTSCH size 16 sockets that has a traceability ID C6 located on the bottom side of the insulation grip. Also, the sleeve will have optional two small dots on the diameter to signify they were made in China. See attached. These PNs are TE proprietary design, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are affected.eason for Changes:Dear Customer, the new tool is necessary to support production demands. IMPORTANT: The sleeves made from new tool are identical to current production and will not impact terminal or connector performance. Shipments from current and new tooling may be mixed.

These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, this change will align with other DEUTSCH size 12-20 gold and tin plated terminals (i.e. solid/machined). The change does not impact crimp application or product performance. There is no visual change. IMPORTANT: The changed and previous terminals can be used interchangeably in the field. The change(s) are being phased in gradually and previously shipped terminals can remain in stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
Description of Changes:The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is realigning the global footprint for DEUTSCH size 16 pins and socket terminals manufactured in TE Suzhou, China plant to include APAC region and possibly other global regions. These pins and sockets are identified with tool ID C6 which can be found on the underside of the terminal insulation grip (see below). Current shipping point will not change. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP will not be provided since manufacturing location remains the same. REASON FOR CHANGE: This change is necessary for alignment of our global footprint to better meet our Customer's needs. IMPORTANT: This change does not impact product fit, form, function, or product performance.
General Product Description: DEUTSCH Size 16 Stamped & Formed Socket Terminal New Stamping Tool Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding new capacity tooling for size 16 stamped & formed socket terminal at our existing supplier in York, PA (USA) for the part number(s) listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected. Sockets will be identified by a supplier tool ID 10. See attached. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The new stamping tool is necessary because of increase production demands. The added tool does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: No fit, form or function change. Parts off the new tool are identical to current production.
