eneral Product Description:35P Vertical and Right Angle AMPSEAL Header - Capacity ToolingDescription of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding new capacity tooling for 35P AMPSEAL headers for the part number(s) listed attached. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The new tooling is necessary to increase production capacity and meet customer demand. The added tooling does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: No fit, form or function change. Parts from the new tool are identical to current production. Shipments from current and new tooling configurations may be mixed.
Customer drawing PCB layout shows the header pin thru hole at DIA1.38+/-0.10 This hole size is too small for the header pin size and is changing to DIA1.75+/-0.10 Reason For Change: Document Clarification. The current PCB thru hole size is too small for the header pin diameter and is changing to add greater hole clearance. There is no change to the header pin size or the product in general, this is only an information change on the customer drawing

We have replaced the difficult-to-apply, labor-intensive gasket by bonding it to the header assembly. This product upgrade also eliminates purchasing and inventorying an extra part--the gasket.
