These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing are not affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The new assembly process is necessary to better meet our Customers demand needs. The change does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
General Product Description: DEUTSCH DTM Plug & Receptacle Process Change Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is making a change to the molding process from using pre-colored resin to color at the pressresin. This change is applicable to all North American manufacturing locations. The affected part numbers are listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, thereforeconsidered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system.Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Productdrawings are not affected. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. TE is promoting this alternative to have greater flexibility in the production process and reduce exposure to materialshortages. The natural resin is the same as the pre-colored resin with V-0 rating. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably inthe field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this drawing change. The change is necessary to standardize our prints to our current TE format. The change does not impact performance
TE Industrial & Commercial Transportation Solutions Force Majeure Notice - Resin Supply TE Connectivity and its affiliates (collectively TE) have received Force Majeure notices from several resin suppliers (including Almaak, Ascend, BASF, DOMO, DuPont, Lanxess, LyondellBasell, Sabic and Solvay) with the potential for more to be added to the list. Please be assured that TE is exploring options to minimize the impact to your supply chain. Specifically, TE is (1) continuously working to learn our suppliers' resulting allocation decisions and determine how those allocation decisions are going to impact our production; and (2) where possible, actively testing alternative material procured from an alternative supply source. Please be prepared that we may approach you for urgent decision making in this regard. However, due to the unprecedented supply challenges and raw material shortages, TE must respectfully advise that these circumstances (i) render TE's performance impossible, and (ii) constitute a Force Majeure event under all applicable agreements between TE and its customers and their respective affiliates. As such, TE will not accept responsibility (including the responsibility for financial costs) for any resulting line-down or other supply chain related charges.
