The X-STM32MP-RBT01 by STMicroelectronics is a high-performance MPU expansion board featuring the STSPIN948 motor driver IC, designed to drive brushed DC motors in embedded applications. Utilizing two STSPIN948 devices, the board can control up to four DC motors simultaneously, operating with a power supply of up to 48 V. It is fully compatible with STM32MP157F-DK2, STM32MP257F-DK, and Raspberry Pi GPIO connector layouts, offering flexible integration options.

The expansion board connects to STM32MP microprocessors via a 40-pin GPIO header using I²C, UART, PWM, and GPIO signals, enabling seamless communication and control. With a total power rating of 480 W at 48 V, each of the four DC motors can draw up to 2.5 A of current.

This expansion board offers a robust and scalable solution for embedded motor control and sensing applications, making it ideal for developers building intelligent motion systems.
