Description of ChangesNOTIFICATION ONLY!!! This is a notice of packaging change which contains stamped product reels for shipping. This change is specific to the reel flange which holds the stamped product associated with this notification.Reason for Changes:Document clarification.Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about a change of packaging material. The reason for this change is to increase the integrity of the packing system. The change follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The packaging implementation follows a certified quality management system in accordance with standard automotive requirements.
DESCRIPTION :-TE is notifying its customers of the installation of two new plating lines at the Pegg Road facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. TE is replacing an aged plating line and adding capacity to better serve TE s business and customer needs. The aged plating line was decommissioned and removed from use 10/31/2023. TE part testing and qualification will follow all standard guidelines to ensure the product coming off the new lines meets the same performance and quality as current production parts. If there are no responses to the PCN from the customers by 10/31/2024, TE will proceed based on the understanding the proposed PPAP submission is acceptable for the final approval by customer. The new plating lines will be installed and the estimated time for PPAP availability is 4/18/2025 with expected SOP 7/15/2025.REASON: Product improvement. TE is replacing an outdated plating line that has been in operation for 28 years. The plating technology advancement will allow TE to remove one aged plating line and replace it with two new plating lines which will increase capacity.
