Microchip PAC1711 & PAC1811 Power Monitors

Accurate, high-resolution DC power monitoring for embedded and industrial applications

The PAC1711 and PAC1811 series from Microchip deliver single-channel DC power monitoring with high-side current sensing, bus voltage measurement, and energy accumulation. These devices integrate high-resolution ADCs (12-bit for PAC1711, 16-bit for PAC1811) and digital circuitry that calculates power and accumulates energy over long periods, enabling precise monitoring and control of embedded systems.

Both monitors feature configurable sampling rates, programmable integration periods, and I2C/SMBus interfaces for easy system integration. Built-in alerts notify the system of voltage, current, or power excursions, while real-time calibration and adjustable averaging ensure low-noise, high-resolution results without external filtering.
