Renesas RRH62000 All-In-One Sensor Module

Geared for air quality monitoring applications

The RRH62000 is Renesas’ first integrated, all-in-one sensor module for air quality monitoring. It combines particulate matter (PM), TVOC, Humidity and Temp (RHT) sensors with an Renesas MCU and firmware.

This module integrates easily into air quality monitoring applications to reduce BOM costs among other key benefits. The RRH62000 module is compact and connects to the main board via a 6-pin connector. It is easy to replace without having to re-spin a new board and layout.

Additionally, the RRH62000 helps save energy by allowing HVAC systems to support demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) based on the environmental parameters reported by the RRH62000 module. Rather than running HVAC systems indiscriminately based on a certain time interval regardless of the air quality and occupancy, DCV runs only when air quality degrades, and pollutants are present.
