MCP7382XEV Li-Ion Battery Charger Evaluation Board features three circuits utilizing the MCP73826, MCP73827 and MCP73828 devices to demonstrate simple, stand-alone, linear charging of single cell Lithium-Ion/Lithium-Polymer battery packs.

  • Three single-cell reference designs are provided
  • Reference designs demonstrate controlled current charging followed by constant voltage charging
  • Constant current output of 1 A is provided
  • Output current can be adjusted by varying a sense resistor
  • Prototyping area included to allow interfacing to a microcontroller
