Description:Impact of China Rare Earth Export Regulations on PID?s Industrial Relay Product Shipment.Panasonic regret to inform you that the Ministry of Commerce, and General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China has announced the enforcement of rare earth export regulations with respect to certain materials as specified on the attached document. In response to this situation, Panasonic has continued to scrutinize the impact on relay production with material suppliers.Unfortunately, there is no prospect of obtaining export permits from the Chinese authorities at present. Although we are considering purchasing substitute materials, it is difficult to improve the situation in the short term as the raw materials themselves are subject to export regulations and material molding molds are required.Please excuse our inability to deliver products at this time due to these impacts, which are beyond Panasonic?s control. We will continue to keep you informed and continue to work toward a resolution of this situation. Once we are able to procure materials at issue from a source that permits Panasonic to be compliant with these regulations, we will resume production to fulfil orders. We ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
