Description of the Change: • Littelfuse will be implementing a 100% automated process assembly for the following LF part numbers: - 01530007Z - 01530008Z - 01530009Z Reason for The Change: • Littelfuse will move to an automated line process to be able to automate inspection and accommodate additional volumes. Effective Date of the Change: • This change will take effect in Q3 2023.
Description of the Change: -In parallel, we have invested in replacement tooling for these molds, given their age and condition do not allow us to maintain current levels of delivery. - We will transition the molding operations for the plastic housings of 01530007Z, 01530008Z, and 01530009Z from their existing location within the Littelfuse Piedras Negras facility to the Littelfuse Matamoros facility. Reason for The Change: - This shift in production sites is meant to allow level-loading of our overall molding demand. - Our investment into replacement tooling is a commitment to continue to supply high quality parts in even greater availability going forward. Effective Date of the Change: - We will halt production on the current tool and begin the transfer the end of the week of March 21st, 2021. We expect the transfer to take 2-3 weeks, during which we will not be able to produce any additional parts beyond what is currently on hand. - Our replacement tooling will begin producing parts by the beginning of July.
