Additional production site for back-end process of block varistors in Kutina.To increase the production capacity, additional to the current production site in Zhuhai/China an alternative production site will be introduced in Kutina/Croatia for back-end processes (metallization, assembly, soldering, sealing, marking, electrical and optical outgoing inspection and packing) of EPCOS block varistors (B72232B*, B72240B*, B72260B*and B72280B*). This change has no impact on function, quality, reliability or lead time of the affected products. The plant in Kutina is qualified to IATF 16949 and produces at the same quality level as the plant in Zhuhai.
