Introduction of a Silicone dual source material (LSR 2020) because of shortage of original raw material (LR 3003/20). The dual source material introduced is the corresponding material proposed by an already used supplier and it has the same Silicone Class and material characteristic. Reason for Changes:Part status change: passage from single source material to dual source material. Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about a dual source material introduction. The dual source follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form t-function of the concerned products. TE has already performed a qualication in the past for this dual source material. A re-qualification for confirmation is ongoing but, because of raw material shortage, we have stock of original material that covers the demand till 15th of May 2018 with no ability from original supplier to provide more. So, the deliveries with dual source material will start before the re-qualification. We can state that, for deliveries with dual source material prior to re-qualification, the risk is low. This is based on the qualication done in the past.
