General Product Description:PCN_A_01_OthersDescription of ChangesThis Product Change Notification (PCN) is to inform about a subcomponent tool manufacturing location change, from TE Oostkamp to TE Kurim, for listed Part Numbers, according to VDA Trigger Matrix No. 29 and AIAG section 3.1, item 4. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. There is no change on the Finished Good/ Saleable Part Number manufacturing location. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Internal release process is ensured by TE, including product validation as per OEM/CAM requirements. Validation will be initiated and completed according to project plan,as soon as samples are available. PPAP will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties, including the negotiated TE trigger matrix), a request via ePPAP(via www.te.com or request to TE Sales representative) needs to be initiated by Customer 4 weeks prior to implementation date. In case no request is obtained till above mentioned date, PPAP will be considered as approved, and the change is considered as fully released.Reason for Changes:As a result of a thorough analysis of demand picture, matching our customer needs, we are going to optimize value stream of PNs in scope of this PCN. Description of Changes: This product change notification (PCN) is to inform you about a change in delivery unit & minimum order quantity (MOQ) impacting PNs listed below in this PCN. Change was already communicated via P-23-024531 but new PCN informs about postponed activation date: As of February 20, 2024 we will increase the delivery unit & the min. order quantity according to attached file. The order quantity should therefore be not less than the MOQ and should be dividable through the MOQ. Dimensions and material of product and shipping box will stay the same. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. The product in scope of this PCN is TE general sales / catalogue product, therefore TE reserves the right to determine delivery unit & MOQ. No PPAP will be submitted for this PCN. It is kindly requested to adjust order quantities before the activation on February 20, 2024 to avoid blocked orders.Reason for Changes: New specification. To assure standardized and uniform packaging for each basic product part number, to improve sustainability and minimize quality risks.
