The MDF14A series is a board to board vertical post header.   This provides a Low cost solution for vertical connection of the boards that do not require insertion or extraction.

Applications would be  power supply devices and  Secondary power source of equipment.

The MDF14A-5P-2.5DS(05) is a five (5) position board to board vertical pin header.   It has a right angled through hole mounting style and a 2.5mm contact pitch.   It is also tin plated and rated for 5 amps.
