TE is notifying its customers of the installation of two new plating lines at the Pegg Road facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. TE is replacing an aged plating line and adding capacity to better serve TE s business and customer needs. TE part testing and qualification will follow all standard guidelines to ensure the product coming off the new lines meets the same performance and quality as current production parts. TE will proceed based on the understanding the proposed PPAP submission is acceptable for the final approval by customer. The new plating lines are installed and the estimated time for PPAP availability is 10/30/2025 with expected SOP 12/15/2025. "Reason for Changes:Product improvement.TE is replacing an outdated plating line that has been in operation for 28 years. Description of Changes:The Suzhou factory in China will replace the following series of part numbers' outer carton. Compared with the old version of the outer box, the size of the new outer box is consistent with the original outer box, only the material and model of the outer box are changed, which does not affect the product itself. Meanwhile, the new carton has passed the drop test of TE, which is in line with the product packaging specifications of TE, it can ensure product safety.Reason for Changes:Customer Request. Dear customer, we hereby inform you that the part number in the following attachment will be changed to a new outer box. The size of the new outer box is the same as the old one, only the material and model are changed. At the same time, the new carton has passed TE's drop test and conforms to TE's product packaging specifications to ensure the safety of terminals in the carton. This change does not involve the change of the product itself, but only changes the outer packaging box of the product, which does not affect the product.
Description of Changes: Manufacturing location change. Following Part Numbers will be transferred from TE Germany to TE Brazil. Release the production in TE Brazil of the PN 7-1452665-3 and 7-1452668-3 (silver plating contact), to be manufactured at the DIE 0333762, that nowadays already produces the PN 7-1452665-1 and 7-1452668-1 (TIN plating contact).Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about a transfer of processes from TE Germany to TE Brazil. The transfer follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The new manufacturing location operates under a certified quality management system in accordance with standard automotive requirements. A TE-internal release test based on the relevant part specifications will be executed before delivery. Upon request, a PPAP Level 2 will be available if it concerns a transfer of a tool which produces a finished TE-product. A PPAP Level 1 will be available if it concerns a component of a TE-product, where the production location of the finished TE-product remains unchanged. If you require such a PPAP, please notify the responsible TE Sales Contact within 14 calendar days after receipt of this PCN.
Description of Changes: This Product Change Notification (PCN) is to inform about tool replacement for below listed PNs according to VDA Trigger Matrix No 13. The manufacturing location remains unchanged. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Internal release process is ensured by TE, including product validation as per OEM/CAM requirements. Validation will be initiated and completed according to project plan, as soon as samples are available. PPAP will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties, including the negotiated TE trigger matrix), a request via ePPAP (via www.te.com or request to TE Sales representative) needs to be initiated by Customer 4 weeks before first shipment. In case no request is obtained till above mentioned date, PPAP will be considered as approved, and the change is considered as fully released.Reason for Changes: Product improvement. Considering tool condition and capacity situation according to customer demand, we are going to optimize production capacity for affected PNs.
Description of ChangesDie transfer from EMEA (Wort, Germany plant) to Americas region (Greensboro, NC plant) to better serve Americas customers (North America and South America). Capacity addition project. The transferred tool will be used as a spare tool to support production in NA as needed. Tool location change only. No change to design form/fit/function.Reason for Changes:Product improvement.Due to future capacity constraint in EMEA, Americas demand volumes will be localized to GSO plant. Added capacity in GSO. No bank build required. EMEA will continue to produce parts until all PPAPs approved and SOP in GSO plant.
