The MCP1702 series of CMOS low dropout positive voltage regulator with 250 mA maximum output. MCP1702 works with input voltage of up to 13.2 V and in combination with its low current consumption of 2 µA is an ideal solution for applications using multi-cell, 9 V alkaline or one- or two cell lithium-ion batteries.
The MCP1702 is capable of delivering 250 mA with only 625 mV (typical) of input to output voltage differential (V OUT = 2.8 V). The output voltage tolerance of the MCP1702 is typically ±0.4% at +25°C and ±3% maximum over the operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Line regulation is ±0.1% typical at +25°C. Package options include the TO-92.
