The NJM78M05FA is a 3 terminal positive voltage regulator with a typical output voltage of 5 V. Available in through hole TO-220F package.
This device is constructed using the New JRC Planar epitaxial process and it employ internal current-limiting and thermal-shutdown, making them essentially indestructible. If adequate heat sinking is provided, they can deliver up to 100 mA output current.
