Temperature sensing is critical to a growing number of consumer, automotive, and industrial applications. Microchip’s analog output silicon temperature sensors offer many system-level advantages, including the integration of the temperature sensor and signal conditioning circuitry on a single chip.
The TC1047A can accurately measure temperature from -40C to +125C. The TC1047A output voltage is directly proportional to measured temperature ranging typically 100mV at -40C, 500mV at 0C, 750mV at +25C, and 1.75V at +125C. It has accuracy of ±2°C at 25°C while consuming 35 µA (typical) of operating current. The TC1047A temperature slope is fixed at 10 mV/°C and allows for the wide temperature range. The TC1047A is offered in space saving surface mount (SOT-23B) device type package.
