The SST 39 Series Multi-Purpose Flash (MPF^™) is a family of parallel flash memory products that deliver high performance, low power consumption, superior reliability and small sector size. Based on SuperFlash^® technology, the 39 Series provides faster program, erase and read times than conventional flash, thereby saving power consumption and increasing manufacturing throughput.

In addition to offering 3V and 5V memory products, the SST 39 Series provides 1.8V devices that deliver up to 15% power savings compared to industry standard flash. Ideal for space-constrained applications, the 39 Series offers the industry’s smallest standard packages, the XFLGA and WFBGA, both as small as 4mm x 6mm.

The SST39WF800B is an 8 Mbit (512K x16) parallel flash memory manufactured with SST proprietary, high-performance SuperFlash^® technology. The split-gate cell design and thick-oxide tunneling injector attain better reliability and manufacturability compared with alternative approaches. The SST39WF800B writes (Program or Erase) with a 1.65-1.95V power supply. This device conforms to JEDEC standard pin assignments for x16 memories.
