The Hirose Electric FX31 Series is a floating board-to-board power connector family engineered for demanding automotive and industrial power distribution applications. Designed to support high-current connections while tolerating vibration and assembly misalignment, the FX31 helps improve system reliability in harsh operating environments.

A floating contact structure allows the connector to absorb positional variation between mating boards, reducing mechanical stress on solder joints and PCBs. This capability simplifies system integration while helping maintain stable electrical performance in applications exposed to shock, vibration, and thermal cycling.

With support for up to 25 A per pin and operating temperatures up to 125°C, the FX31 Series is well suited for modern automotive power architectures, powertrain systems, ECUs, and heavy-duty equipment. Its robust design helps engineers address increasing power demands while maintaining long-term connection integrity.
