STMicroelectronics TSC201 Series High-Voltage Current Sense Amplifiers

The high-precision TSC2010, TSC2011 and TSC2012 from STMicroelectronics are bi-directional current sense amplifiers for use with a shunt resistor to measure current with a high degree of precision and accuracy.

The amplifiers can perform high- or low-side current sensing, and are also suitable for other functions such as over-current protection, current monitoring and feedback loops.

The TSC201 series amplifiers operate over a wide range of common-mode voltages from -20V to +70V, regardless of the supply voltage. These STMicroelectronics devices are able to sense voltage drops as low as 10mV full-scale. The TSC2010’s amplifier gain is 20V/V, the TSC2011’s is 60V/V and the TSC2012’s is 100V/V.

Maximum offset voltage is just ±200μV. The TSC201x parts are supplied in an SO8 or Mini-SO8 package.

The TSC2011 and TSC2012 are available to order now. The TSC2010 will be available soon.
