The change is necessary to improve product traceability for internal use. The change does not impact performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
General Description of Changes:The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding a semi-automated assembly line to add extra capacity for the assembly of the part number(s) listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. Level 1 PPAP request must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Samples can be provided upon request. Product drawing(s) will be affected to show witness mark location only. A witness mark will be added after the PN on the weld ring or back shell adapter to signify parts are produced off the semi-automated assembly line.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to increase assembly capacity to meet Customer demand. The change does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: Parts from either assembly process can be used interchangeably in the field. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
eneral Product Description: DEUTSCH HDP Series ConnectorsDescription of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is making a change to the molding process from using pre-colored resin to color at the press resin. This change is applicable to all North American manufacturing locations. The affected part numbers are listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawings are not affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. This process allows flexibility and mitigates exposure to material shortages. The natural resin is the same as the pre-colored base resin and V-0 rating. There is no appearance change to parts manufactured with color at the press. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use.
