IQD current part numbers show the packaging identifier in the suffix of the Part Number, for example: LFSPXO019928Reel, LFSPXO019928Bulk, LFSPXO019928Cutt. The decision has been made to change the part number format and remove the packaging identifier from the part number i.e. Reel, Bulk, Cutt, RL3K:The reason for this change is streamlining of the processes and improving the efficiency of the operational and business functions at IQD, and also simplifying the ordering process through consolidation of multiple part numbers.
Due to the current global market shortage of semiconductors, we have taken the decision to qualify an alternative IC to the bill of materials for a range of our oscillators, as specified below. This will enable us to offer these oscillators with shorter lead times. We are not making the existing IC EOL, however we are adding a different possible IC configuration to our range of oscillators. When the market conditions return to a more normal situation, we expect to be able to source the original IC and use either qualified configuration to fulfill demand. This renders our supply chain more secure and able to deal with any future IC supply issues, should they occur.
