In order to maximize manufacturing synergies within KYOCERA AVX and KYOCERA Electronic Components Group, which combined their MLCC manufacturing and development resources in 2021, we will have a new global MLCC part numbering system.Our goal is to make it the universally preferred ordering code for all KYOCERA AVX MLCC products while providing customers with adequate time to familiarize themselves with the new part number.
Introduce the Kyocera AVX new facility in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand as an additional manufacturing location for MLCC.It pleases us to inform you that we are increasing our MLCC capacity. This notification is to officially introduce Kyocera AVX new facility in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. On June 6, 2023, the Thailand Ceramic plant received a letter from BSI of Conformance to IATF16949 (Reference Number: LC784011). The certification is scheduled to be completed by March 2024.Products Before and After the Change:There are no changes of the products design, quality, guaranteed specifications, and others. The product design, production process, manufacturing equipment, materials, maintenance programs and, quality control system are the same as the Kyocera AVX Penang facility.Change Schedule:Products Ship from KAVX Thailand: October 2023

The 12063C225K4Z2A is a part of 12063 series Ceramic Capacitors. It has an operating temperature ranging from -55°C to +125°C.
X7R formulations are called “temperature stable” ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials. X7R is the most popular of these intermediate dielectric constant materials. Its temperature variation of capacitance is within ±15% from -55°C to +125°C. This capacitance change is non-linear. Capacitance for X7R varies under the influence of electrical operating conditions such as voltage and frequency. X7R dielectric chip usage covers the broad spectrum of industrial applications where known changes in
capacitance due to applied voltages are acceptable.
