One of the more popular methods for reducing EMI is the use of ferrite chip beads. These ferrite chips have physical and constructional properties that make them ideal filters. They also are very simple to install because there is no need for a ground design. 

Murata Electronics, in the BLM series, offers application specific solutions. The BLM series is comprised of R series (for digital interface), A series (for standard), B series (for high speed signal), P series (for large current), and H/E/G series (for GHz range noise suppression).

Murata Electronics’ surface mount ferrite beads are available in standard EIA packages ranging from 0402 to 1806. The also offer EMI Ferrite chip beads in an array package.

Perfect for standard applications the BLM15AG601SN1D is an 0402 ferrite chip bead, with an impedance of 600 Ohms at 300 mA.
