General Description of Changes:Governed by the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) & REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations directive by the European Union. The LMH type versions of OJ relays can be replaced by the LMH2 type versions, which has cadmium-free contacts, which is a more sustainable option. We at TE are at the fore front for sustainability, and hence implementing the changes as per the direction. This change does not lead to any discontinuance or obsolescence of the LMH type OJ relay. This notification is only for awareness globally to all customers across regions, but with effect only for EU region, there is no EOL or LTB announced. Please be aware that TE only verifies the loads on the datasheet. To be on the safe side, please evaluate your own application. If you need TE support, please contact your local sales.Reason for Changes:Only EU and exports in EU are affected by the RoHS/REACH regulation changes, hence the Products containing cadmium contacts will not be allowed to be sold in the EU from 2025, to reduce the health and environmental risks associated with its use.
