The MSP5.0A-M3/89A Transient Voltage Suppressors having High Temperature Stability and High Reliability Conditions with power dissipation of 100 W, 9.2 V clamping voltage, Surface Mount Micro-SMP package style. These are used in sensitive electronics protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting on ICs, MOSFET, signal lines of sensor units specifically for protecting 5.0 V supplied sensitive equipment against transient overvoltages.
