Description:To further strengthen the security and continuity of supply for our customers, Littelfuse will be adding a new assembly and test site location in the Philippines for DO-214AA (SMB) package including SMBJ, P6SMB, 1KSMB, 1.5SMB and SACB Series. The electrical performance of the affected Series will remain within existing datasheet specifications. There will be no change to the fit, form, and function of the products. Packaging dimensions of the Affected Series will remain the same.
In order to support our fast-growing demand and secure continuity of supply for our customers, the TVS STD products listed will now be built on 6-inch wafers in addition to 5-inch wafers. The 6-inch wafers will be processed using new 6-inch capable furnaces and equipment, with optimized 6-inch wafer process steps.Effective date: Aug 1st, 2023
RE: LFPCN 41452- TVS STD DO-214AC(SMA) and DO-214AA(SMB) packages additional Epoxy Molding Compound and second Wafer Foundry approvalEffective 21 June 2023, Littelfuse will be adding a new epoxy molding compound (EMC) for our DO-214AC (SMA) and DO-214AA (SMB) packages. This urgent addition is necessary due to circumstances beyond Littelfuse, as the current supplier recently obsoleted the EMC used by the Affected Series. To further strengthen the security and continuity of supply for our customers, Littelfuse will add a second wafer foundry for DO-214AA (SMB) package of TVS STD Commercial grade products.
