Tyco Electronics is the world’s leading connector manufacturer and has addressed a variety of power entry needs by combining several functions such as on/off switching, voltage selection switching, fusing, filtering in combination with an IEC power entry connector.

The P Series of power entry modules provides a dual voltage selector which is integrated with the fuseholder. To simplify the wiring in each individual application, Tyco Electronics provides dedicated voltage selectors for different voltage selection schemes. The voltage selector installed will allow proper wiring from these applications. No matter what voltage selection scheme is used, wiring is always made to the same four terminals. 

Applications

The P series power entry modules find wide use in communications, computer and consumer electronics, industrial, commercial, instrumentation and medical equipment.
