Changes for AT4103 & AT4104 Knobs for FR01, MR & MRB Series RotariesThere will be a revision to the material used for the spring in the AT4103 small knob and AT4104 large knob. These color tipped knobs are used with the FR01, MR and MRB Series Rotaries. The change to the material of the spring inside the knobs, which was previously carbon steel and will be revised to stainless steel, will apply to all standard and custom knobs. There will be no difference in the effectiveness of the knobs’ function, and no dimensions are altered. Effected standard part numbers for the knobs are listed on the table attached, and part numbers for the assembled knob and switch follow on pages 2 and 3 on the attached.
Attached is the updated PCN 400 PN file which contains "Direct Replacement", "Recommended alternate", or "discontinued" product. For "Recommended Alternate" or "Direct Replacement" the Master list provides the dates the product is available to purchase, the two dates are July 2023 or April 2024. This a reminder that the last time buy for current PCN 400 PN's to NKK's factory is June 30, 2023. Due to containing an environmentally restricted material, Dechlorane Plus, NKK Switches will be discontinuing a limited number of products as outlined on the following table. Guidelines regarding Dechlorane Plus will be coming into effect in the near future, and NKK prefers to be proactive regarding environmental responsibility. The discontinued products will include standard and custom part numbers. Effective Dates Orders from the release date of this notice for the discontinued products specified are considered noncancelable, nonreturnable (NCNR ). Orders for any of the discontinued products listed will be accepted through June 30, 2023. The end of sales date is April 30, 2024.
