Description of ChangesThis document is intended to clarify the products involved in PCNs P-24-026509 and P-24-026510. The documents have undergone a minor visual change only, with no impact on product performance or functionality. These PCNs, including the previous ones mentioned above, were created solely to inform customers in the APAC region and other interested parties.Reason for Changes:Document clarification.This document serves to clarify the changes involved: The threads now include some interrupted sections due to improvements in the molding process and overall quality enhancements. The AMP logo, previously used as a TE registered trademark, has been updated to the TE logo. The injection gate in the China tooling was relocated to improve resin flow and ensure better distribution during the molding process. These slight modifications do not affect the functionality or performance of the products (accessories) for their intended use.
Description of Changes: DUAL SOURCE MANUFACTURING SITEReason for Changes: Document clarification.Due Demand and Logistic improvement, TE Suzhou, China plant (1099), will produce, CPC Cable Clamp kits as well as TE Hermosillo, Mexico plant (1080) to absorb Asia Region (APAC) demand and speed up deliver time to customer. First shipment will be according to each agreement with customer and could be from 60, 90, 180 or 365 days as wait period, being able to have a faster response from the customer to this notification through direct communication with them, reducing these waiting times for their prompt demand and delivery of the products involved.
CPC Cable Clamp Kit drawing 206062 and CPC Plug Assembly drawingDescription Of Change: 1) Add new part number 788153-3 to customer drawing 788153. 2) Add new part number 2-206062-0 to customer drawing 206062. 3) Change the revision letter of 788153-2 from 0 to A. There have been no changes to the existing parts, the drawings have been modified to show a new product offering.Reason For Change: New Product. New part numbers were released to quote new business. The revision letter of 788153-2 must change to match the new revision letter of the drawing. No physical changes are being made to 788153-2, the only change is the revision letter.
