Purpose : To offer a new design alternative part that Adam Tech has tooled with improved manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency. Parts are similar form, fit, and function the same with some minor aesthetic differences. Drawings and samples are readily available for a smooth transition.• The current part numbers you are purchasing (listed on the attached) will still remain Active for a minimum of 12 months from now.• The new suggested alternate part numbers are Form, Fit, and Function equivalent to current part numbers. There should be no impact to the application by transitioning to this new part number.• To facilitate customer approval to the new part numbers, Adam Tech is prepared to supply as many samples as necessary for requalification. All technical differences are outlined in the attached drawing including photo comparison in the PCN document.

The MTJ series of Modular Telephone Jacks from Adam Tech is a complete line of PCB and wire leaded jacks which are UL and CSA approved and meet all required FCC rules and regulations. The MTJ series comes in Surface mount and Thru-Hole mounting, and come in a variety of sizes (4p2c thru 10p10c) and styles (Single,Ganged,Stacked). Also available are Jacks with integral LED's and combination hybrids such as MTJ/USB Jacks.
