DT Series 3 Position Dual Row Female Socket Free Hanging Plug Housing
|Mfr. Name:||TE Connectivity|
General Product Description: DT 2/3 ways series connector Description of Changes The ICT business unit of TE is adding a 2nd source material for the part numbers listed below. Currently the DT connectors are using single source PA66 material. The 2nd source material does not impact performance. The 2nd source material is V0 and UL re-certification on the connectors is in process. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via firstname.lastname@example.org or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawings are not affected. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. With global demand in excess of supply on PA66 the material supplier is restricting TE buying allotment. The allotted amount is at a level where production is impacted and to close the gap an alternative PA66 supply is needed. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. First Date To Ship (Changed Parts Only): 15-JUN-2021Last Date for Mixed Shipments: (Changed Parts Only): 15-DEC-2022
TE Industrial & Commercial Transportation Solutions Force Majeure Notice - Resin Supply TE Connectivity and its affiliates (collectively TE) have received Force Majeure notices from several resin suppliers (including Almaak, Ascend, BASF, DOMO, DuPont, Lanxess, LyondellBasell, Sabic and Solvay) with the potential for more to be added to the list. Please be assured that TE is exploring options to minimize the impact to your supply chain. Specifically, TE is (1) continuously working to learn our suppliers' resulting allocation decisions and determine how those allocation decisions are going to impact our production; and (2) where possible, actively testing alternative material procured from an alternative supply source. Please be prepared that we may approach you for urgent decision making in this regard. However, due to the unprecedented supply challenges and raw material shortages, TE must respectfully advise that these circumstances (i) render TE's performance impossible, and (ii) constitute a Force Majeure event under all applicable agreements between TE and its customers and their respective affiliates. As such, TE will not accept responsibility (including the responsibility for financial costs) for any resulting line-down or other supply chain related charges.
