3M Static Shielding Bags SCC 1500 flat and Ziptop are manufactured using a proprietary top coating. The top coating and metal layer provide low charge retention and Faraday Effect shielding of an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) with the associated electrostatic fields. Polyester dielectric stops the current from ESD. Tribocharging is minimized by the specially processed polyethylene.

3M Metal-out Static Shielding Bags SCC 1500 are approved by major computer, electronics, and disk drive manufacturers for use worldwide. Our transparent, metalized static shield bag structure provides a static safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. Provides low charge retention and rapid static decay. Bags are lot coded for QC traceability.
