Description:This notification is to inform you that certain markings will be removed from certain TE Connectivity Sensors products (the affected part number list is annexed to this notification). Specifically, the “made in China” marking will no longer appear on the product and/or the product packaging and/or the product documentation (including but not limited to accompanying invoices). For products supplied to APAC region, the country of origin remains unchanged.
Description of Changes 1) Shipping label: "Made in China" removed2) Part marking: "Made in China" removedReason for Changes: "It has been determined that TE Sensors produces Temperature Sensor products today with a Country of Origin (COO) set as China while per US regulations, the COO should be based not on where the Temperature sensor is assembled (China) but on the source of the temperature sensing element. Upon this consideration, TE Sensors made the decision to remove the ?Made in China? marking on product itself and/ or the packaging labels.Products requiring an update of the shipping label or the product marking itself have been identified and can be found in the attached list.TE Sensors is in the process of modifying the product marking accordingly. For shipments destined to the United States, TE Sensors is also in the process of modifying the shipping label and invoice. Please refer to the list of products to identify if only the shipping label will be affected or both the shipping label and the product marking."
