The ICL3221ECVZ is a RS-232 transmitter/receiver IC with manual power down, available in 16 pin TSSOP package.
This device provide ±15 kV ESD protection on transmitter outputs and receiver inputs (RS-232 pins) and also feature an automatic power-down function which powers down the on-chip power-supply and driver circuits.
