To improve the supply chain a second source for UL certification material (E338855) used for the bottom discs for EPCOS aluminum electrolytic capacitors produced in Xiamen/China and Szombathely/Hungary will be introduced. There will be no effect on the electrical performance, reliability and dimensions of the affected products. The color of the new bottom disc material is different. Future shipments can consist of capacitors with both bottom disc materials.
